About Me

Smita Pranav Kothari

Smita Pranav Kothari graduated with a Master’s in Liberal Arts (ALM) in Journalism from Harvard University in 2012. She has written feature stories for Forbes, Conde Nast Traveller, Times of India, Mint/WSJ, Caravan, The Economic Times, Reader's Digest, The Indian Quarterly (IQ), Travel+Leisure, Femina, Time Out, Chicken Soup for the Soul among others. All her writing brings out the human quirk in every story:)

From telling people's stories as a witness in her role as a features writer, Smita's current journey is to enable people to tell powerful and compelling stories as their brand-communications partner. As a management graduate, she understands that businesses and their leaders have the right intention of connecting with their employees, customers and other stakeholders. However, what ends up happening is ineffective communication with no connection: the kind that has no major impact on sales/revenue. Smita believes that the gap lies in telling stories with emotions (as emotions are a potent tool to establish this human-to-human connection). She helps instill emotions in your brand communications.

When she's not writing; she loves to travel, play Scrabble, and watch rom-coms!
